Why We're Here...
My husband David and I delivered a stillborn Baby Boy that we loved, and wanted. Our first and only son, Logan, had Down Syndrome. Our daughter's smile is a little light in the darkness. She turned one year old three days after our sweet Logan tip-toed away on January 24, 2009. After 2 1/2 years we found out we were having another baby, whom we affectionatly called Rudy. Just shy of 6 weeks we found out Rudy was Ectopic. Rudy was surgically removed on May 26, 2011 delivering another blow to our already broken hearts.
I'm not a fan, but I saw
this on Yahoo.com this evening. Mike Tyson's 4 year old daughter died. She was strangled by the treadmill cord at home, on accident. It's sickening. Children should not die!

It's so tragic.
Praying for the family.
Also not a fan of Tyson, but will always grieve with a parent whose child has died. (I noticed the article did not mention the mother--not newsworthy, very sad.)
I agree---children should not die. Peace.
Ooh that's true. No mention of the Mommy even though they pointed out that Tyson was around "on occasion". That is sad. Her pain is very large too.
It's always so shocking when I child dies. Always, every single time. Even after experiencing it firsthand, I still have that moment of breathless incredulity.
Just found your blog through Becky @ Mommywantsvodka. So sorry for the loss of your Sweet Logan.
Here in Phoenix, where Tyson's daughter died, they did mention Exodus' mother in the local news reports, and her brother as well. She should have been at least named in the national news! :(
And you're right... children should not die.
Thinking about you, Heather, and hoping you're okay....
